Trisha is a queer, petite, introverted Black woman. Living with anxiety yoga has been a therapeutic tool guiding her on a path to develop self-awareness, which has led her to find love, build resilience and gain confidence in herself. Trisha holds a 200 hour RYT, 45 Hr Restorative Yoga and 20 Hr Yoga Nidra teacher training certificate.

She is health & wellness programs assistant coordinating and facilitating programs to optimize the overall health and well-being of older adults at a community health centre and is currently in school to become a Recreational Therapist. Her focus is to create a safe space to motivate and inspire individuals to move, breathe, reflect and tune inwards regardless of socioeconomic status, colour, size, gender, sexual orientation, body shape or age.

Trisha strives to guide an accessible, trauma-informed practice. Her classes move at a slower pace where she guides you through a skillful blend of gentle movement, breathwork and meditation. Her intentions are for you to drop into your parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest response) leaving you to feel connected to oneself, rejuvenated and light by the end of your practice.
